"The FibreGlass Workshop" was created by fibreglass expert, Fred Gayford and video producer, David Delouchery. The goal was to create an informative and entertaining television series that would step the user through various projects of increasing complexity. The pilot episode was completed and footage was collected of a more complicated project destined for a future episode but as with many noble intentions the project stalled. Plans for distribution were not completed. The goal was to secure a broadcast schedule with an educational broadcaster like The Learning Channel or TVOntario. Distribution in hardware stores like Canadian Tire and educational sales were not explored.

Skip ahead 10 years later and the pilot episode still holds it's own as a great learning tool. It's a great tool to guide newcomers on how to work with fibreglass and successfully complete simple repairs to objects like canoes. Due to the changes in technology and the way in which we can now view video content over the internet the pilot episode is now available for autobody and marine hobbyists, handy people, sculpture artists and anyone looking to learn how to work with lightweight, versatile and flexible material.
